1820 Came to Clongowes in December. he had been Professor of Natural Philosophy and Dogmatic Theology. He was remarkable for his “eximia, simplicitas et morum innocentia” (Hist Prov Hibern Vol ix, p 31, HIB Archives)
There is a most touching and affectionate letter written to him by Father Aloysius Landes, a Pole, dated Rome, 11 October 1829, in which he gives him news about their Province. (This is at Milltown Park)

He was remarkable for his simplicity and innocence of mind. His love for the Society made him resigned to the sorrows of exile. He was a model of obedience both in word and deed, and most exact in the performance of his duties. He was very diligent in reciting the Divine Office, and, unless when prevented by sickness, never omitted to offer the Holy Sacrifice daily.

Father Casimir Hlasko 1784-1831
At Clongowes, on the 27th January 1831, died Fr Casimir Hlasko, a Pole, a man of remarkable simplicity and innocence of mind. His love of the Society reconciled him to the sorrows of his exile.
He was a model of obedience, both in word and deed, and most exact in the performance of his duties. He was very diligent in the reciting of the Holy Office, and unless prevented by sickness, never omitted to offer the Holy Sacrifice daily.
He came to Clongowes in 1820, and remained there until his happy and holy death in 1831.

HLASKO, CASIMIR. This Polish Professed Father, and able Professor of Natural Philosophy and Dogmatic Theology, reached Ireland in December, 1820, and gave the aid of his superior talents to the College at Clongowes, where he died on the 27th of January, 1831, aet. 49.
