A file relating to Fr Joseph Hurley's wish to write some of the Messenger of the Sacred Heart in Irish. Includes a letter from Fr F. Schwendimann SJ, Directio Generalis, Apostolatus Orationis, Borgo S. Spirito 5, Rome, Italy to Irish Fr Provincial Thomas Byrne SJ expressing his worry over different dialects in Ireland and the possibility of misinterpretation (21 November 1952, 1p). Includes a copy reply from Fr Provincial explaining that although differences do occur within the Irish language in different parts of Ireland the meaning would not be misinterpreted (26 November 1952, 1p).
