Remarks 'I am happy to tell you that my new researches enable me to trace the direction of (the second wall) and that this direction leaves outside of the city the Holy Sepulchre and Calvary. Concludes 'I will feel very happy if I can put some new weapons in the learned hands of such an apologist as you are and contribute in that way to the defence of our dearest traditions.'
